Milford High School’s athletic program has received a rejuvenation. The Eagles discovered they would have more fun and be more competitive in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference (FAVC) after the years they endured being a member of the Greater Miami Conference (GMC), finishing in the bottom half of the final conference standings.

Milford is a member of the Buckeye (big school) Division of the FAVC. The other members of this division are Anderson, Glen Este, Harrison, Loveland, and Winton Woods.

“I thought it was a great first year. We have renewed rivalries with Loveland, Anderson, and Glen Este. Playing the neighboring schools has brought us better crowds,” said Mark Trout, Milford High School athletic director. “All the seasons were very competitive, but the highlight was renewing rivalries with the local schools.”

“I’m very happy with being in the new conference,” said Pat Fagan, the Eagles’ head football coach. “I think the FAVC was every bit as competitive as the GMC. Being in this league gives us the chance to play neighborhood schools.”
