Nolan Darland has recently signed a letter-of-intent to continue his education and his basketball career at Wilmington College for the Quakers and head men’s coach K. C. Hunt.

Darland, the son of Jack and Julie Darland, played football and basketball all four years of high school and lettered three years in both. He was a member of the track and field team two years, lettering one year.

His senior year, Darland was the leading rebounder in Greater Cincinnati grabbing 14.4 per game. He was a Southern Buckeye Conference American Division all-star.

“I felt best at Wilmington,” said Darland who will study in the field of sports management.

“He made a great choice of college. It is a fantastic school,” said his father. “We liked how the coach presented himself.”
