Shauna Willenburg, the Brown County resident who caused a wreck in Jackson Township that killed an unborn child last year, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

An intoxicated Willenburg was driving south on Ohio 133 in the Monterey area of Jackson Township Aug. 4 when she ran her 2004 Mitsubishi through a stop sign and struck a 2002 Buick Rendevous traveling west on US 50.

Hurt in the crash were Marathon residents Robert Lloyd, 25, and Stephanie Mezger Lloyd, 20, who was eight months pregnant; she lost her unborn baby in the crash.

Fayetteville resident Willenburg, 28, who was unhurt in the two-car crash that occurred at US 50 and Ohio 133, was found guilty last month by Clermont County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ringland after Willenburg pleaded no contest to charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault in court March 31.
