Glen Este outlasted Loveland’s Tigers 6-3 in eight innings in Division I. Matt Marksberry was the winning pitcher. Nathan Bromagem and Matt Jones both had two hits and two runs batted in (RBI) and Chris Sunderman had two hits.
Glen Este was ousted by Turpin 3-1 despite outhitting the Spartans seven to five. Marksberry was the losing pitcher.
Batavia bombarded Clermont Northeastern 10-3 in Division II. Ryan Beard was the winning moundman while getting 13 Rockets to fan. Seth Varner was the losing pitcher. Matt Beitman homered to power the Bulldogs and Beard and J. D. Little had three hits, and Ryan Anstaett two.
