A capacity attendance was on hand to view the annual Owensville/Clermont Northeastern High School Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Following are the inductees of the class of 2008.

Mike Adams (CNE class of 1970) was a Clermont County League (CCL) football and wrestling all-star. He was a center and defensive tackle on the gridiron and in the unlimited class on the mat. He was captain of both teams his senior year. He also competed in the weight events in track. He attended Capital University (Columbus, Ohio) from where he graduated in 1974 with a bachelor of arts in geology. He was a member of the football and wrestling teams and was an Ohio Athletic Conference All-star three years in football while he played on the NCAA Division II national championship team. He is a member of the Capital Athletic Hall of Fame. He is retired from the United States Air Force where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant and flew the F-16 and was commander of the 112th Fighter Squadron.

Jerry Combs (CNE 1987) was a Clermont County League all-star in football, basketball, and track and field. He was a member of the Class AA district champion 1,600-meter relay team and qualified for the state meet in the 110 hurdles. He was also very successful in the Junior Olympics. He competed in track at Ohio University where he was a four-year letterman and a two-time placer in the Mid-American Conference. He earned a bachelor of science degree in biology (pre-med).
