Frances Strickland is working to make a positive difference in the lives of Ohio’s families.

Touring the state’s 88 counties and representing the governor, the first lady made a stop in the county last week to receive a report on the successes and challenges that county families face and on the quality of services offered by Clermont County Family & Children First, and the many other county health and wellness service agencies that work with that organization.

Welcomed by many representatives of those county service agencies, including Child Focus, Inc. and Mental Health and Recovery Board, Frances Strickland visited the county April 11.

The first lady heard an overview of the county, a discussion on the programs, successes, and challenges that the county’s service agencies confront, on the mental health and wellness of county families, and on the many challenges that ordinary families face on a daily basis.

She liked what she heard.
