Alex Gulick, Milford High School senior and football standout, was recently honored with yet another honor.

Gulick has been named as a McDonald’s Tri-State High School Football McScholar-Athlete.

The honors student sports a 3.9 grade point average. He is also a two-time selection for the President’s Award for Academic Excellence.

In addition to all of these accolades, he is also an Eagle Scout.

On the Eagles' gridiron he lettered three years and earned the prestigious All-Greater Miami Conference Academic Athlete laurels.

He undoubtedly inherited much of his athletic prowess from his father, Richie, who was a Clermont County League all-star athlete in football and track and field during his prep days as a Bronco at Western Brown High School.

Patrick Fagan, head coach of the varsity football Eagles, said of his standout performer, "Alex was a 1,000-yard rusher. He was a coach on the field. He is close to being his class' valedictorian."
