Batavia Elementary School offers an After School Program for students in grades 1-4.
The more than 21 hour-long classes, which are offered twice a year, meet once a week for five weeks.
There is a social skills support group, dance classes, a chess club, an art club, a Lego club, a reading and homework club, sign language, needlepoint, science and foreign language workshops, cheerleading, drill team, sports activities, and many others.
The school also works with Child Focus to offer groups on anger management, changing families, and classes that teach ways of learning to focus.
