The Amelia Middle School held a senior citizen’s fair Feb. 19.

Attended by approximately 100 people, the senior fair was a way to show appreciation and to engender solidarity and goodwill between the West Clermont School District and the many seniors that live in the West Clermont community.

“We have worked very hard to make this happen,” said Amelia Middle School principal David Mack. “We are offering this exciting day of fun for our seniors and other community members because we want our seniors to know where they fit into the scheme of the school district’s future plans. We are certainly hoping that everyone has a good time.”

It was evident that the senior citizens who attended the fair were having a good time – clapping their hands and stomping their feet – while socializing and being entertained by the senior citizen Clermont County/Union Township Monday Line Dancers, who performed for more than an hour.
