In the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division wrestling tournament, Glen Este was the pace-setter for the two Clermont County teams gaining second place. The tournament took place at Glen Este.

Harrison’s Wildcats won the tournament with 209 points, Glen Este had 143.5, Loveland 130.5, Milford 129.5, Anderson 106, and Winton Woods 51.

“They’re peaking at the right time of the season,” said Glen Este head coach Nate Lynch of his charges’ efforts. “We accomplished one of our goals by finishing second ahead of two top ten teams (Loveland and Milford).”

The Purple and White were the dominant force in the upper weights and can boast of four individual weight class champions – 160-pounder Cameron Childs, 171-pounder Jacob Sparke, 215-pounder Tyler Shade, and 285-pounder Taylor Krimmer.
