Division II

February 9 - Batavia's Bulldogs square off versus the winner of the Bethel-Tate - Norwood game at Mason High School. 2:30 p. m.

"We're happy with the number-three seed and with who we're playing. We're going to have to play our best against either one of them. We know that Bethel is a much improved team," said Aaron Brose head coach of the Bulldogs.

Division I

February 9 - Glen Este's Trojans will do battle with the winner of the Sycamore Aviators - Walnut Hills Eagles game at Lakota East High School. 5 p. m.

"We're pretty happy being seeded 12th out of 34 teams," said Trojan taskmaster Jeff Click. "But we haven't played well lately.

"We've got a good chance against either of these teams. Walnut Hills is favored, though. They're seeded eighth and they have a bunch of good athletes, but Sycamore has some real good athletes, too.

"For us to do well we just have to be consistent. . . We need to get back in tune. . . We've lost focus.

"Sometimes we rely too much on (junior guard) Jaimie Hamlet and (junior forward) Moriah Hodge. In order for us to play well we need our other players to step it up."

There are no seniors on the Purple and White's varsity girls basketball roster.
