The Goshen Warriors Junior Varsity warmed up the home crowd with a convincing 51-33 win over the Williamsburg Wildcats. In the big game, the Wildcats took the tip-off and drove down-court to miss the first of many shots.

The Warriors showed their rebounding skills and took advantage when 6’2″ Senior Guard/Forward Chris Petry pumped in a three-pointer. Swish- and the Goshen Warriors were off and running to a 8-0 lead.

Derek Bunnell, 6′ Sophomore Guard, energized the team and thrilled the crowd with back-to-back three-point shots, leading Goshen to a 16-5 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Wildcats made a great effort to keep the game from getting out of hand and tried their best to win the battle under the boards. Williamsburg kept good control of the ball and just needed a run of hot shooting to get back in the game. But it never happened. By halftime, Goshen had outscored the Wildcats 33-14.
