Many people have shown appreciation over the years to Danny Bubp for his work as an attorney or as the state representative from Ohio’s 88th State House of Representatives District.

Hundreds of people turned out at a Dec. 29 reception at the West Union Church of Christ, however, to show their appreciation for Bubp in another way – his service in the U.S. military.

Bubp, a colonel with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, is being deployed this month with other Marines to the Anbar Province in Iraq, and he will temporarily be absent from his State Representative’s Office in Columbus.

A 1972 graduate of Eastern Local High School and a West Union attorney, Bubp represents all of Brown County and portions of Adams and Clermont counties in the Ohio House of Representatives.
