The junior and senior DECA students at the Milford Senior High School have raised $5,200 and collected 750 toys for the Mary Miller Fund Drive.

The toys and the $5,200 check were presented to Mary Miller, representatives from the Milford Miami Ministries, and the Landmark Baptist Church at a recognition and appreciation breakfast at the High School Dec. 20.

“Thank you all so much for what you have done for needy people in our area,” Miller said to the more than 150 people attending the appreciation breakfast. “When I started this, I never dreamed it would have lasted this long.”

Lifetime Milford resident Mary Miler, 91, started the Mary Miller Fund Drive in 1952 to collect funds for local needy people. For more than 50 years, she has made this her mission in life.
