Bowling season is off and rolling and the West Clermont teams are sparing no one as they strike for an increasing number of victories.

The girls won their first contests over Kings’ Knights, Northwest’s Knights, Wilmington’s Hurricanes, and Goshen’s Warriors 2180-1859 all at Cherry Grove Lanes which serves as the Trojans’ home. The quartet of adversaries are members of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference (FAVC) with the exception of Goshen.

“We’re off to a good start. This team actually has more energy than talent,” said DeMarko. “This is a really driven team.”

The Purple and White is composed of five seniors, five freshmen, and “one or two” sophomores and juniors.

Senior Noelle Beagle is the pace setter for GE with her 178 average per game. Senior Katie Georg is averaging 147-plus, senior Michelle O’Doll 160-plus, senior Rachael Johnson 150-plus, and senior Rachel Ruehlman 150-plus.
