After two official and certified recounts, the results of the three close races that were undecided four weeks ago have now been announced by the Clermont County Board of Elections.

In question after Election Day was one seat on the West Clermont Board of Education, two seats on the New Richmond Village Council, and the Amelia mayor position.

On Nov. 19, and again on Dec. 3, the Clermont Board of Elections met to review the more than 450 provisional votes because it was determined that there were enough to possibly have an affect on the winners in those three disputed races.

The official winners, whose names and tallies were released by the Board of Elections on Tuesday, all came out on top by a very slim margin of the recounted votes.
