Like Nick’s life, it will be remembered. The third annual Nick Erdy Foundation benefit dinner, dance, and auction was held at the Norlyn Manor in Batavia Nov. 17.
The fund-raiser, which attracted more than 400 people, was an enormous success, said Nick’s mother Jane Erdy.
“We think everybody had a great time,” she said. “We are so thankful and grateful to everyone who has helped us help others in Nick’s name.”
The Nick Erdy Foundation is a local non-profit charitable organization which was started by the Erdy family after Lance Corporal Nicholas Erdy was killed in Iraq in 2005.
