The public defenders commission in Clermont County will likely continue to run as usual after reaching a tentative deal with the Clermont County Board of Commissioners.

Last week, the board of commissioners voted to abolish the public defenders commission after that commission voted to fire Daniel Hannon, director of the public defenders office.

Sources say that the two bodies have reached an agreement concerning the issue, which is expected to put the operating procedure and personnel back into the same condition as before the issue arose.
