A break-in at Batavia Elementary has been solved after a graduate was linked to the crime.

Kyle Moore, 18, of Batavia, has been arrested for the May 23 break in of Batavia Elementary School, a fifth degree felony.

According to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Moore is graduate of Batavia High School, and allegedly performed the breaking and entering while still a student there. Moore was identified through the combined efforts of the sheriff’s office investigative unit and the Batavia Police Department, led by Chief Mike Gardner.

In addition to the evidence linking Moore to the elementary school break in, Moore has also been linked to and is charged in in connection with two additional counts of breaking and entering.
