The students of the St. Louis School in Owensville participated in the 5th annual worldwide children’s holy hour Oct. 5.

This is the first year that the 195 students of St. Louis have participated in the event (not counting the kindergarten class).

“Today is a special day,” said St. Louis School principal Margaret Hunsberger. “In all the countries of the world, school children are gathering in front of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament in their parish churches to pray the World Mission Rosary for their families and all the families of the world.”

Pope Benedict XVI granted a special apostolic blessing to all the children around the world who participated in the holy hour.
