James Parson, Sr., 89, died Sept. 19, 2007.
He was preceded in death by wife, Doris (nee Seematter) Parson; and daughters, Joan Smith and Jeannie Parson.
He is survived by son, James Parson Jr.; grandchildren, Amy Leach, Robert Parson, Ellen Bradley, and Diana Wood; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel. Interment followed at the Tate Township Cemetery.
