The Clermont County Board of Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities (MRDD) will be asking voters to renew a .75-mill levy in November.

“We are asking voters to support the renewal levy,” said MRDD superintendent Sharon Woodrow. “It is crucial to renew the levy this year because the five-year levy that voters approved in 2003 expires next year.”

The levy issue that will appear on the ballot in November is the exact same five-year levy that voters passed in 2003.

Lisa Davis, MRDD Communications Director, said that the renewal levy will enable the board to continue its necessary services for another five years.
