A potentially dangerous robbery resulted in no physical harm after an armed robber was caught by the Milford Police Department Sept. 11.
According to the Milford Police Department, Kevin Thorton, 26, of Milford, was arrested for allegedly robbing a state Route 28 Cash Express in the city of Milford.
A man fitting Thorton’s description entered the Cash Express at 1:10 p.m., brandishing a revolver. After the clerk met Thorton’s demands to place money in a bag, he allegedly left the woman tied up in the business while he made his escape. Later that afternoon, investigators developed a lead on the case that identified a possible suspect.
