Four have announced their intent to become the next member of the Bethel-Tate school board, which currently has one seat up for election in November.

The race includes an incumbent, who is seeking to retain her seat, as well as three newcomers who seek to take their turn helping the district move into the future. Running are Pam Sandker, David Brannock, Ray Courts and Tammy Kenneda.

Pam Sandker, the incumbent, is completing her first term as a Bethel-Tate school board member, which, she says, is a major reason for voting for her in November.

“People should vote for me because I have four years of experience and training under my belt,” said Sandker. ”I take this job seriously and am committed to keeping the Bethel schools a safe and “excellent” learning environment. I hope that people feel that they can talk to me about any issue they may be concerned about.  It helps me, as a board member, to know what the feelings are in the community.”
