The best in local food and entertainment is once again coming to downtown Batavia as part of the 4th annual Taste of Clermont, Sept. 7 – 9.

The annual taste, to be held from 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. Friday, 11 a.m. – 12 a.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday, is sponsored by the Village Association of Batavia and will feature returning local restaurants as well as several new participants.

Participating in this year’s Taste of Clermont will be Miguel’s, the winner of the best appetizer award at the 2005 and 2006 Taste for its pepperjack stuffed pretzels, and the best appetizer award in 2004 for its chicken quesadillas.

Other favorite restaurants participating in the Taste of Clermont include D.R. Concessions, the Clermont Inn, BBQ Cabin, Clerco Cafe, Gramma’s Pizza, Skyline Chili, Ice Cream, Etc., the Cincinnati Grill, and Sweet Maize Kettle Corn.
