It was a night of memories and a solid performance for Zach Strief, the left offensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 27-19 in a National Football League (NFL) game played Saturday night (Aug. 18) before a full house at Paul Brown Stadium.

For Strief, a graduate of Milford High School, it was his first-ever game in Paul Brown Stadium and playing before a very pro-Cincinnati crowd. The difference in this crowd from other Bengal home games is there was a large contingent of Milfordians and other Clermont countains cheering loudly to support one of our own, but yet one of the enemy.

“”This was a neat night being cheered by a lot of friends and family in the stadium,” said Strief in the post-game interview. It was very different for me.
