John W. Burleigh, 96

John William Burleigh, 96, of Milford, died Aug. 19, 2007. He was a navigator in the Royal Air Force.

He was preceded in death by daughter Barbara Gaskins.

He is survived by wife, Elfreda Alice Gillingham Burleigh; son, John (Marye Jo) Burleigh; grandchildren, Scott (Melissa) Burleigh and Leigh (Adam) Hayward; and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Davis Burleigh and Lilli Hayward.

Funeral services were held Aug. 23 at the Trinity United Methodist Church. The Baxter Crematory and the Evans Funeral Home is serving the needs of the family.

Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church or the Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7264 Columbia Road, Suite 200, Mason, Ohio, 45039.
