Fort Ancient Valley Buckeye dream team chosen

Glen Este was well-represented on the Fort Ancient Valley Conference’s Buckeye Division all-star teams.

Following are Trojans who were so recognized for their superb performances during the spring season.

Baseball

First team

Andrew Keller (junior outfielder) and Joey Mack (senior outfielder).

Second team

Andrew Hord (junior first baseman) and Jerry Neeley (senior pitcher).

Final conference record (overall record)

Mason 9-1 (25-3), Anderson 7-3 (17-12), Loveland 6-4 (16-12), Harrison 4-6 (11-14), Glen Este 4-6 (9-17), and Winton Woods 0-10 (1-17).

Softball

First team

Jensen Jeffries (freshman first baseman).

Second team

Taylor Armitage (freshman outfielder) and Kari Lang (freshman shortstop).

Final conference record (overall record)

Harrison 9-1 (22-4), Mason 7-3 (15-15), Anderson 5-5 (14-11), Loveland 5-5 (13-13), Glen Este 4-6 (13-13), and Winton Woods 0-10 (5-15).

Boys track

First team

Adam Chambers (senior shot put).

Second team

Adam Chambers (senior discus).

Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division meet

Winton Woods 174, Anderson 115, Mason 111, Harrison 44, Glen Este 40, and Loveland 39.

Girls track

There were no Glen Este all-stars.

Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division meet

Mason 173, Loveland 113, Winton Woods 108, Anderson 77, Harrison 30, Glen Este 22.

Boys tennis

Second team

Kyle Barrett (junior first singles).
