An agreement reached between authorities and family members of David and Liz Carroll has resulted in the Carroll children being placed in the custody of their grandmother.

According to the Clermont County’s office of public information, Debra Hounshell, paternal grandmother of the children, will retain custody of the children for the time being.

The agreement, reached between the private parties, Clermont County children’s protective services and the children’s guardian ad litem, was determined to be best for the children, who will still be under the partial custody of child protective services. Children’s protective services will retain legal custody, which will help facilitate placement of the children into the home.
