Amy Baker, the 26-year-old Clermont County woman who admitted under oath to being involved in last summer’s cover-up of the murder of 3-year-old foster child Marcus Fiesel, was indicted in Kentucky July 27 for tampering with evidence.

A Mason County grand jury, agreeing with Kentucky prosecutors, delivered the tampering with evidence indictment against not only Baker, but also against convicted murderer and foster father David Carroll.

In last year’s murder trial of Liz Carroll, Baker, who was the prosecution’s star witness against Liz and David Carroll, admitted under oath that after she and David Carroll burned the corpse of the developmentally challenged boy in Brown County, Ohio, she assisted in trying to cover-up the crime by helping David Carroll throw the boy’s remains over the side of a Maysville, Ky. bridge.

Despite being promised immunity in Ohio from any prosecution regarding the case by Clermont County authorities, Kentucky, claiming jurisdiction over that portion of the Ohio River, pursued its own criminal action against Baker.
