Many of Amelia High School’s male and female soccer alumni gathered recently to raise funds for the Branden Able Memorial Scholarship.
Able was one of the best of the Barons in varsity soccer history. After receiving a scholarship to continue his studies and play soccer at Defiance College, Defiance, Ohio, he was killed in a motorcycle accident the next summer.
He is being remembered by this annual game that is played to raise funds for soccer scholarships for Amelia High School seniors who played soccer during their prep career.
