Recently, 10 Bethel-Tate High School seniors were awarded $2,000 each as part of the annual Edmund G. Burke Educational Grant.

The annual scholarships are given out to 10 Bethel-Tate students who apply and are judged worthy by the Bethel Village Council. In all, $20,000 from the fund is given in scholarships every year.

“The students submit their GPAs, then council has an interview with them, grades them, and chooses,” said Bethel administrator Michael Shiverski.
