The 350-pound fiberglass buffalo that was stolen from the back of a pick-up truck in a New Richmond grocery store parking lot May 17 has been found and returned in one piece.

Big Bad Bob was spotted May 24 in a ditch on the property of a married couple who live in Harrison, Ind.

The local couple, who had remembered seeing and hearing about the kidnapping on the local news, immediately called their local police department to report that the buffalo was on a portion of their property alongside State Route 74.

Bob, who belongs to Vista Grand Ranch owners Cindy Cassell and David Uible, has been returned to New Richmond where he received a homecoming party at the Bistro Joe bar and restaurant June 2.
