Man dies in motorcycle crash in Batavia Township

What is believed to have started as a motorcycle stunt on state Route 32 Sunday resulted in the death of a Wheelersburg man.
Jared Roe, 23, died after an apparent stunt he performed on his motorcycle resulted in a crash in Batavia.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Roe was traveling west on state Route 32 on a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle when the accident took place Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m.
Traffic was stopped for several minutes when motorists attempted to deliver life-saving measures on Roe, who had not been wearing a helmet. Roe is the second person to die this year in Clermont County as a road fatality.
