The American Micro Products Company located in Batavia held its third annual Nascar Days May 18.

“We are going to make this an annual tradition at the company,” said Nascar committee member Sheilah Lindsey. “Last year, American Micro was 18th in donations out of the more than three thousand companies who participated in the Nascar Days. We hope to be in the top 10 this year.”

The National Nascar Days started three years ago when racecar driver Kyle Petty’s son Adam was killed. Petty decided to create a Nascar camp where handicapped and disabled children could go and live the whole Nascar experience.
