Two men and two women are under arrest after they allegedly forced their way into a Goshen man’s home, assaulted him and stole money and painkillers.

That man, William Combs, is a cancer patient and was medicated with oxycontin for his condition. Although he did not receive a lasting injury in the assault, the act itself could result in a lasting consequence for his four assailants.

“In the early morning hours of May 3, about 3:30 a.m., a home invasion took place on Rose Lane in Goshen Township,” said Lt. Mark Penn. “The homeowner, William Combs, is a cancer patient. Two men broke into his home, kicked the door open, and began beating him about the head and face with the butt of a gun in order to steal his oxycontin, a painkiller used by cancer patients.”

According to Lt. Penn, Robert Grevas, Brandon Royse, Crystal South and Katie Dollan were all arrested and charged with the assault and ensuing robbery. They face charges of felonies, first and second degree, stemming from their actions that night.
