More than 2,000 people attended the open house at Grant’s Farm and Nursery April 21-22.

“We have the open house one weekend every year to show our appreciation to our customers and the community,” said owner Danny Grant. “This year’s open house went great.”

Grant’s has two locations. Grant’s Farm and Greenhouses are located at 5552 Bucktown Road, which is 13 miles east of Milford off State Route 50. Grant’s Garden Center is located at 2115 State Route 131, between Day Heights and Newtonsville.

Both locations offer an extensive selection (more than 30 greenhouses) of flowers, bedding, shrubs, herbs, and trees.

Last weekend's open house offered a 20 percent discount on all purchases and door prizes were awarded every 30 minutes.

Grant's has been holding their annual open houses for more than 20 years.

"It has grown over the years," said Grant. "We offer reasonable prices and that continues to attract existing and new customers. The open house is our way of saying thank you for the continued support of everyone over these years."

The Grant's locations are open all year long, seven days a week.
