Craig Kolb has relinquished his seat on the Milford city council.

The surprise resignation was announced at the city’s regular council meeting April 3.

In a brief written statement read by Milford Clerk of Courts JoAnne Trilety, Kolb stated that he was reluctantly resigning the elected seat due to personal time constraints.

“Due to growing demands on my time, it has become increasingly difficult for me to dedicate the time required to effectively fulfill my city council responsibilities, so I have decided to resign my seat on city council effective March 31,” Kolb said. “It has been a privilege serving the citizens of Milford the past fifteen years as well as an incredibly rewarding experience.”
