Liz Carroll, the Union Township foster mother convicted in Clermont County of murdering three-year old foster son Marcus Fiesel in February, has been found guilty of five more crimes in Hamilton County and sentenced to an additional fourteen and a half years in prison.

After entering a no contest plea April 4, Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Alex Triantafilou found Carroll guilty on two counts of inducing panic, one count of making false alarms, and two counts of perjury, charges related to what Carroll now admits were lies about Marcus going missing in Juilf’s Park in Aug. 2006 and then pleading with the community for his safe return when in fact he had already been murdered a week and a half earlier.

Carroll was sentenced to an additional fourteen years in prison by Triantafilou, the maximum allowed sentence that she could receive in Hamilton County for the crimes of which she was charged. Judge Triantafilou did not add any more prison time in addition to the 54 years to life sentence that she is currently serving in the Marysville Women’s Prison.
