Clermont Northeastern Director of Curriculum and Personnel Robert Humble has been recognized as the outstanding administrator in support of foreign languages by the Ohio Foreign Language Association.

Humble, who is in his fifth year at CNE and was nominated for the award by CNE French teacher Sarah Shackleford, was honored at an awards ceremony which took place during the association’s annual conference in Cleveland March 24.

“I was extremely excited and honored by the recognition,” he said in his office March 29. “It means a great deal because it is a state level award; I am very pleased.”

Humble is only one of five administrators to receive the outstanding administrator award recognition since 1980. The Ohio Foreign Language Association awards program is designed to honor those educators and community leaders in the state whose dedication and activities promote and nurture the teaching and study of all foreign languages.
