Clermont County did herself proud the past wrestling season with very respectable showings by many of the varsity wrestlers and with the obvious classy capabilities Goshen performed in once again hosting both a Division II Sectional Tournament and the Division II Southwest District Tournament.

“This is always a massive undertaking and a lot of hard work hosting the sectional and district tournaments. It could not have been done without the support of a lot of great people including the boosters, the faculty and, many other community people,” said Mark Slagle, Goshen High School Athletic Director. “I’m real fortunate to have so many great people to work with.”

The 2007 season marks the fifth consecutive year Goshen has hosted a sectional and the district wrestling tourneys.

The booster’s feedbag was praised by people from all over southwest Ohio. The booster’s hospitality rooms of Batavia and Clermont Northeastern were also superior during the winter sports season.
