It is almost fair time again and the Clermont County Agricultural Society Board of Directors is moving forward and re-positioning itself for the future.

“We are happy to have a fair every year, but we also want to have a better fair every year,” said Dan Hodges, Clermont County Agricultural Society Board Director at Large from Goshen Township. “We are all very excited about the changes and additions to this year’s fair and we cannot wait to share them with the public. It will be a brand new fair and whatever day people come attend, they will leave having seen something new.”

Guests attending the traditional 158th annual Clermont County Fair, which takes place July 22-28, are going to see a brand new look and experience “a whole new world (the newly adopted motto)” as they stroll through the grounds this year.

The biggest change that the general public will see this year is a new fair book, or catalogue. The Clermont County Agricultural Society Board of Directors is currently holding a fair book cover contest. The talented person who designs the winning cover will receive a cash prize and a free pass to the fair. Expect the new fair book to be out by Memorial Day weekend.
