Amelia head basketball coach Craig Mazzaro has experienced just two losing seasons in his 13 years with the Barons. The 1978 Amelia graduate and Clermont County League all-star cager and baseball first baseman, said, “We can’t get on a roll. We’re having a real tough time getting the offense going. We struggle on the offensive end of the floor.

The Blue and White is 6-9 overall and 2-5 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Cardinal Division.

“Were playing in a very tough league. Wilmington, Turpin, and Kings Mill have all won 10-12 games, but we haven’t lost more than two in a row.”

Senior guard Courtney Rodgers, a transfer from Anderson High School, leads the Barons in scoring with a 13-point average and junior forward Brandon Dietrich is averaging more than 10 rebounds per game.
