Fabrics from around the world displayed
U.C. Clermont College is presenting ‘Fabrics From Around The World.’ An interdisciplinary collaboration between more than 30 students in two diverse courses, the fabrics from around the world project results were displayed at the campus art gallery Nov. 3 – Nov. 29.
Open house held at new WIC offices
The Nursing and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Division of the Clermont County General Health District held an open house to celebrate its new nursing and office space. “We are reveling in the new space,” said Nurse Supervisor Deena Elliott. “But what today is really about is the the outstanding services that this brand new clinic and office space can continue to provide to the families of Clermont.”
Church makes discovery under floor
The Owensville St. Louis Church has recently discovered six remarkably preserved sets of stained glass windows that were hidden away in a crawlspace under the present-day church. As part of the parish’s 150th anniversary celebration, the windows were unveiled during a parish brunch in the St. Louis School gymnasium Nov. 21. A collective gasp arose from the some 60 people assembled at the brunch when the windows were revealed.
