Mary Virginia (Mary Gin) Ashburn, 101, of Batavia, died Nov. 25, 2006. She was born on Sept. 19, 1905 in Batavia. She was a substitute teacher for Batavia schools.
She was preceded in death by parents, Percy French Jamieson and Elizabeth Griffith Jamieson; husband, James Patchell Ashburn; and son, Jerry Ebersole Ashburn.
She is survived by daughter, Ann; son, James; daughters-in-law, Ruth Ann and Mary Jo Ashburn; grandsons, Scott (Carol) and Thomas (Trisha) Ashburn; and three great-grandchildren.
Moore Family Funeral Homes is serving the needs of the family and funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
