Thurman T. Pete King, 97, of Union Township, died Sept. 7, 2006. He was retired from Trail Mobile and a WWII veteran.
He was preceded in death by brother, Hurdis King; and sister, Nora Nickoson.
He is survived by wife, Helen; sister, Mary Harrison; nephews, Thornton and Jerry Kindred; and Homer and Truman King; niece; Mary Esther Evans; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sept. 9 at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Burial followed at the Tate Township Cemetery.
