Canoeing classes are being offered at Stonelick Park
Anyone who’s ever found themselves up a creek may want to take advantage of a class being offered by the Soil and Water Conservation District. “Quickstart Your Canoe,” a training course for the amateur paddler, will be held on Aug.19 and 26 from 1-5 p.m. in the Stonelick State Park.

Ted Strickland’s “Turnaround Ohio” bus tour will be in Clermont County Saturday, Aug. 19. Strickland, the Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate, will be appearing at Union Township’s Veterans Memorial Park beginning at 9 a.m.
David V. Colucci, Jr., 38
David V. Colucci, Jr., 38, of Milford, died Aug. 10, 2006. He was a pastor and a homemaker. Funeral services were held Aug. 15 at the Evans Funeral Home.
