Milford spring sports standouts on all-CMC teams

Milford standout spring sports athletes were honored for their stellar performances by being selected to the respective all-star squads of the Greater Miami Conference.

Baseball

First team: Adam Testerman (senior outfielder).

Second team: Derek Cooper (senior infielder).

Final league standings (overall records): Hamilton 12-6 (22-7), Princeton 12-6 (16-9), Lakota West 12-6 (19-11), Oak Hills 12-6 (16-14), Milford 9-9 (17-12), Lakota East 9-9 (14-11), Colerain 7-11 (14-14), Fairfield 7-11 (12-12), Sycamore 5-13 (9-18), and Middletown 5-13 (8-16).

Softball

First team: Danielle Finley (senior pitcher).

Final league standings (overall records): Lakota West 17-1 (28-3), Fairfield 14-4 (23-5), Hamilton 14-4 (24-6), Colerain 11-7 (17-9), Sycamore 8-10 (16-13), Middletown 8-10 (11-11), Lakota East 6-12 (16-13), Milford 6-12 (7-15), Oak Hills 5-13 (11-18), and Princeton 1-17 (4-23).

Boys Track

There were no all-stars from Milford.

Girls Track

Second team: Kim Strunk (freshman discus).

Third team: 800-meters relay and 3,200-meters relay.

Boys Tennis

Final league standings (overall records): Sycamore 9-0 (15-1), Lakota East 7-2 (8-4), Lakota West 6-3 (8-5), Princeton 6-3 (9-7), Fairfield 5-4 (7-4), Middletown 4-5 (10-6), Milford 4-5 (8-7), Oak Hills 3-6 (7-8), Hamilton 1-8 (7-8), and Colerain 0-9 (4-10).

Boys Volleyball

First team: senior Brad Roush.

Second team: senior Matt Boldt.

Final league standings (overall records): Lakota East 8-0 (16-8), Sycamore 7-1 (16-6), Middletown 6-2 (14-9), Oak Hills 5-3 (12-9), Milford 4-4 (12-13), Lakota West 3-5 (8-15), Fairfield 2-6 (5-8), Princeton 1-7 (4-15), and Hamilton 0-8 (0-10). Colerain did not participate.
