Amelia, Tealtown win three Knothole titles; Batavia, Bethel, Milford, Goshen win

Amelia and Tealtown were the pacesetters in the 61st Annual Clermont County Knothole Tournament. Both franchises won three championships each. Batavia, Bethel, and Milford won two apiece. Goshen and Withamsville-Tobasco were both winners in one. Five of the 15 crowns were earned by teams that were forced to emerge from the losers bracket. Following are the results of the championship games.

Class A Senior

Amelia Giants stepped over Williamsburg Wildcats 7-6.

Class A Junior

Bethel Tigers ate up Withamsville-Tobasco Blue Jays 12-0.

Class B Senior

Gold Division

Milford Bombers stampeded Milford Longhorns.

Class B Senior Silver Division

Tealtown Lightning electrocuted Clermont Northeastern Raiders.

Class B Junior

Gold Division

Bethel Rangers arrested Bethel Reds.

Class B Junior Silver Division

Batavia Cobras snaked by New Richmond Diamondbacks.

Class C Senior Gold Division

Tealtown Redhawks reservationed Tealtown Gators (Cherokees).

Class C Senior

Silver Division

Amelia Killer B’s swarmed Withamsville-Tobasco Wolves.

Class C Junior

Gold Division

Tealtown Scorpions plucked Milford Wingers.

Class C Junior

Silver Division

Batavia Blaze burned Goshen Braves.

Class D Senior

Gold Division

Withamsville-Tobasco Stingers quieted Goshen Storm.

Class D Senior

Silver Division

Milford Tigers outlasted Williamsburg Wildcats 13-11.

Goshen Gators devoured Tealtown Pirates 1-0 (seven innings).
