West Clermont Schools to try for bond

The West Clermont Local School District Board of Education has unanimously voted to place a $53 million bond issue on the ballot in November.

Rejected by voters last year, the purpose of this new bond will be to build four new elementary schools in the school district.

The four oldest elementary schools in the district that the Board would like to replace are Summerside, Withamsville-Tobasco, Brantner, and Amelia.

The bond issue that failed last year would have not only replaced those schools, but would have provided financing for upgrading the school
